Game Time:

• 2 * 30 minute running halves
• 1 * 30 second time out per half per team
• Half time will be 3 minutes

Checking:

• Full stick checking is allowed at all levels
• Body checking for boys is a 2 step rule

Team Numbers:

• Teams must play with a goalie
• Minimum number of players is 8 plus a goalie before a team forfeits
• A team may choose to forfeit and claim other players from their opponent if numbers are too low to be competitive or safe

Penalties:

• Penalties will be played on High School rules
• 1:30 minutes for personal foul
• 1:00 minute seconds for minor infraction
• 3:00 minutes for unsportsmanlike conduct
• Bench penalties will be assessed and players will serve a 3:00 minute penalty for poor conduct of the coach or the parents representing the team
• Any player removed from a game will not be eligible to play in the following game

Playing Time:

• Coaches will do their best to ensure equal playing time for all players during every regular season game

Fairness Rules:

• If a team is ahead by 5 goals the losing team will automatically receive possession of the ball at midfield
• If the wining team is ahead by 5 goals they must keep the ball in the box on their offensive end. If they lose possession outside of the box the ball will be awarded to the losing team at midfield

Equipment Rules:

• Full equipment is required for each player
• Boys: Helmet, Armpads, Shoulder pads, gloves, legal stick, mouthguard, athletic supporter. (Rib pads are recommended but not required)
• Girls: Goggles, mouth guard, stick

Player Experience Rules:

• No parents are to be on the bench side of the field. This will qualify as a bench penalty and will result in a 3:00 minute penalty
• Exceptions will be for injuries of a player
