Notes From The Adrenaline High Rollers Camp
It’s a chilly Friday night here on the campuses of Whitier College, as the 2009 Adrenaline High Rollers has officially commenced. I’ve been posted up here at Wallace Newman field since about 6 pm, having a chance to watch a majority of the 275 invitees check in. Right away, I’ve been amazed at the representation present from different high schools west of the Missippi. So far I’ve watched players check in from Colorado, Boise Idaho, Calgary Alberta, Dallas, Las Vegas, Lake Oswego Oregon, Arizona, and California. The players and parents are in good spirits despite a moderate dosing of LA rush-hour traffic, and as one Washington parent put it “Hey, we haven’t seen the sun since we left Annapolis two weeks ago!” KEEP READING...
